Kathy is a Fayetteville native and has represented District 1 on the City Council for the last 12 years. She has a proven record of public service, growing our economy, and strengthening safety and opportunity. Kathy is proud to be from this community and committed to leading this city through a new chapter of growth. Kathy graduated from Pine Forest High School in 1983 before studying business at East Carolina University and Methodist University. Following college, Kathy joined the family business, focusing on the retail, property management, and financial areas.
